Quite busy!

In the morning hours, I was busy cleaning and ironing (while Claire was taking her nap). Carl came home, we had lunch. After that me and Claire went to the library, went to the post office. While I was there this lady talked to me about breast feeding. It was very nice to hear what she had to say, actually! She nursed for 2 years (twins) and donated breast milk. Anyway, I just thought she had lovely things to say about nursing. :) After the post office, we took some of our clothes to the cleaners. Then we went to Jareds to have our wedding rings checked, cleaned, ect. Hmm...I'm embarrassed to say what I did next. :D Hehe. Well, I was very thristy. Yep, I got something to drink.....Jamba Juice. :) Brighteyed Blackberry drink. Yummy! Claire really enjoyed it too. :) Believe me, I *NEVER* do that sort of thing. Now I'm home and I've gotta start supper. I like to start at 4pm usually, but um, its 4:42 right now. Ah well. I've been busy all day. Being on the internet is my way of taking a break sometimes. ;)

A day at the beach

On Saturday around 12:30 we left for Galveston. We drove and drove, looking for a place where it would be just us. After about 30 mins of driving and looking, we finally found a place off of a neighborhood. Wonderful! I could hardly believe that Carl was serious (that he found a place w/ no one).

We had sooo much fun!! It was simply a blast. Claire has been to the ocean before, but she was about 5 1/2 months then. Now she is 11 months. She absolutely loved the water! Of course, she would have put a lot of sand in her mouth had we not stopped her. Hehe. She crawled (not near the water, believe me!) That was fun for her. Carl swam some.

We got home around 4pm. Claire had a nice long nap. I made supper, cleaned and then made a dessert to take to Joe and Care's. When we got there, Claire saw this interesting toy that Julia just got from a neighbor. She got to the toy (or near it) by walking 6 steps!!!! I wanted to cry; I couldn't believe it.

Claire is needing me (as usual). I've been on here for awhile, trying to post all the pics. Now I'm leaving. Love yall!!!
